Kalfaktorn \/ The Officer\u2019s Servant is Mats Ek\u2019s first work for The Cullberg Ballet and had its premiere in Falun in 1976. The piece, based on Georg B\u00fcchner’s Woyzeck, depicts how a poor soldier seeks revenge after his wife betrays him with a young junior officer. Enraged, humiliated and subjugated, Woyzeck stabs his wife to death.
