Breath Bandits<\/i> are people, situations or atmospheres that take your breath away. Sometimes the dancers are \u2018bandits\u2019 and sometimes they are victims.<\/p>\n
The ballet takes place in short, interrupted episodes and the varying situations can form like people moving in a crowd, who are hunted as in a silent film. Perhaps a murder has been committed or a suicide, or someone just falls asleep? Sometimes we are alone or think about being alone or persecuted. A beautiful landscape or the very beginning of a beautiful day can also take ones breath away. All scenes and movements take place under the darkness of night, but then dawn appears or a light is cast and you realize that everything may not have been as it first seemed, or quite as earnest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
