So it’s the whole Cullberg company. It’s dealing with mob movement and impact, taking what is often the unseen and the invisible impacts in our world and making them tangible.”

The performance reveals itself layer by layer, with increasing depth emerging on stage. In her creative process, Faye Driscoll seeks ways of transmitting physical sensations from dancers to audiences, sometimes engaging senses beyond sight and hearing.

“A big dilemma is the kind of way the world is flattening, and the way that we’re perceiving so much of the world through flat surfaces, through screens, and through image optic touch, and creating a kind of intimacy.
