Matter of a Maker was the Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite’s first work for the Cullberg Ballet. The work shared a program with Stijn Celis’ Sonata.
This program marked the last for Johan Inger in his tenure as director. Pite, already well known at the time, would go on to become an internationally acclaimed choreographer, making works for major dance companies as well as self produced piece under the company name Kidd Pivot.
