The Cullberg Ballet’s very first premiere took place at Stockholm City Theater on March 5, 1967. Five works were presented, all choreographed by Birgit Cullberg to contemporary Swedish music. The program included Dionysus, which was presented in an adapted form under the name Facetter after Karl-Birger Blomdahl’s symphony of the same name.
