L’Odeur de l’ombre

L’Odeur de L’ombre, a duet created for Gunilla Hammar and Pompea Santoro by choreographer Stijn Celis, featured an appearance by a stuffed fox. The 10-minute piece was described as “a reinterpretation of the fable Little Red Riding Hood”. L’Odeur de L’ombre was created by the dancer Stijn Celis, still a dancer at the time, created L’Odeur de L’ombre, on the occasion of a workshop series at Moderna Dansteatern (MDT). Stijn Celis went on to create several works for the Cullberg Ballet and enjoy a successful career as an internationally renowned choreographer and artistic director of a number of European dance companies.
