Arrival of the Queen of Sheba (1996) marked Örjan Andersson’s first commission for the Cullberg Ballet. The piece had its premiere at Dansens Hus in Stockholm, and was held in high regard. Andersson has since gone on to a successful career both in Sweden and internationally, having created numerous pieces, both commissioned and independent productions.
