FLUKE is the name of one section of the music (composed by Fläskkvartetten) and became the name of the piece. A series of events, situations and scenes are set against a backdrop of two large, black cubes.
The juxtaposition of these abstract, relentless forms gives heightened clarity to the soft and mobile bodies. A tenuous marriage we all live in with houses, laws, beliefs and assurances. A fellowship that when combined with the music, provided the concepts and events for the piece, which could just as easily have been performed in reverse order – and yet not.
