“The ballet is built on the gradual rise in the music from pianissimo to a thundering forte. At the same time the number of dancers grows, but they all move in their own way and follow different rhythms in the music. They are strangers, without contact with one another. Suspicion, misunderstanding and aggression grow and further develop into violence between them. What I want to try to bring out is that people’s ignorance of each other’s different environments, religion and culture often leads to enmity and violence. While there are also groups that work for peace on earth, power and money still lie with the most aggressive among us. “
