Gamla Barn (Old Children), created in 1989, was dedicated to Birgit Cullberg. Though not expressly about Birgit Cullberg, Gamla Barn was inspired by situations and characters where the childish in the elderly and the elderly in the child are the primary leitmotif. Some animals also appear in the piece.
Fläskkvartetten wrote the majority of the music and against the backdrop of their raw, sad, and powerful songs, emerge romantic evergreens with their sweetness and beauty.
