Tabula Rasa (1986) is a term that could be variously defined as clean slate, pure state or something undisturbed. It is one of Ohad Naharin’s earliest works, a commission for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater. In Tabula Rasa, Naharin had a desire to show that something important and of substance can be achieved with little means.
