Luca Seixas

Luca Seixas is a Brazilian dance artist from Campinas, São Paulo. His early engagements took place in Rio de Janeiro and with the São Paulo Dance Company, before he moved to Munich as a member of the Gärtnerplatztheater.
As a freelance dancer, Luca was a guest with the Iceland Dance Company in Reykjavík, deepening his connection with the work of Erna Ómarsdóttir and Halla Ólafsdóttir, and has also collaborated with choreographers across Europe, including Moritz Ostruschnjak, Hooman Sharifi, and Ralf Jaroschinski.
As an independent choreographer, Luca has worked closely with the Choreographic Centre of Heidelberg, where he created his first full-length piece, Incant, and co-choreographed the video-dance project Astraland together with Sarah Fischer Luckow. His creative interests explore different modes of enchantment and the element of play in culture, tracing an arc between movement, emotion, and reflection.
Luca joined Cullberg in 2025.
